Building some Cliffs |

1. | Choose the area to be landscaped and plan roughly what you want to do with it. |

2. | Break up some polystyrene into chunks and roughly place it where you want your cliffs. |

3a. | Mix up 1 part PVA glue to 2 parts water and cut up strips of newspaper. |

3b. | Dip the paper into the glue solution and place over polystyrene. 2 to 3 layers should be adequate. Allow to dry over night. |

4. | Mix up some Plaster of Paris. Using a knife, spread it quite thick over the cliff face. Making ledges and crevices. |

5. | Give the area that's going to be the cliff face a base coat of grey paint. Allow to dry for 2 hours. |

6. | Detail the surface by dry brushing with darker grey and black. |

7. | Super detail by spraying over the rock face with grey Plasti-kote Fleck Stone Spray. Make sure area is well masked. (Let Dry) |

8. | Paint the areas which are going to be grass with a brown base coat, and dry brush final detailing on the sprayed cliff face. |

9. | Brush over grass areas with diluted glue and scatter with scenic. When dry, hoover off. (Use cloth over end to keep excess scatter) |
