Building some Cliffs

1. Choose the area to be landscaped and plan roughly what you want to do with it.
2. Break up some polystyrene into chunks and roughly place it where you want your cliffs.
3a. Mix up 1 part PVA glue to 2 parts water and cut up strips of newspaper.
3b. Dip the paper into the glue solution and place over polystyrene. 2 to 3 layers should be adequate. Allow to dry over night.
4. Mix up some Plaster of Paris. Using a knife, spread it quite thick over the cliff face. Making ledges and crevices.
5. Give the area that's going to be the cliff face a base coat of grey paint. Allow to dry for 2 hours.
6. Detail the surface by dry brushing with darker grey and black.
7. Super detail by spraying over the rock face with grey Plasti-kote Fleck Stone Spray. Make sure area is well masked. (Let Dry)
8. Paint the areas which are going to be grass with a brown base coat, and dry brush final detailing on the sprayed cliff face.
9. Brush over grass areas with diluted glue and scatter with scenic. When dry, hoover off. (Use cloth over end to keep excess scatter)
