Newsround's Ricky visits the World's
biggest Model Railway. Every country
has its own famous attractions - the UK has Buckingham Palace and Big
Ben, Paris has got the Eiffel Tower and Italy's got the Leaning Tower of
Pisa to name just a few.
But have you heard about the biggest model
railway in the world... in Germany?

It's become one of Germany's biggest
tourist attractions. Based in an old warehouse in Hamburg, Minatur
Wunderland is home to the world's biggest miniature railway model.
Set on three floors, the impressive
railway track is 13km long and snakes through a world of miniature
countries like Switzerland, Austria and the USA.
The museum opened in 2001 and since
then it's got bigger and bigger as the owners add on new parts.

I got to see the attraction for
myself. There's something very magical about the model railway set, as
you walk around you feel like a giant towering over all the small
figures, cars and buildings.
