TINWALD

Every building has been built from scratch
and weathered with water based paint.
It is basically a coach 'marshalling yard
where coaches are cleaned/serviced and sent on their way again. There
is a mainline that cuts through the middle of this section of the
layout and is dead straight with no turnouts/points on it.
As I have never actually seen pictures of
an actual coach service area this is most definitely a fictitious
layout.
The main building is the coaching service
building with a catwalk on the roof linking the office on this
building with the yard. Another structure is the inwards goods depot (
a Class 20 Bo Bo is seen stopped just outside the goods shed with 2 x
'Interfrigo' and 2 x 'Palethorpes" bogie wagons in tow )
So far this layout is only 6 ft long by 2
ft wide but has other modules the same size (and smaller) under
construction that will be linked to it.
The project is ongoing and will be able to
be added to on either end to make one long end-to-end layout or
modules that can 'stand alone' and be appreciated individually. A
further idea is to incorporate small 'ends' that have curved radius
track so that all the modules can be linked together in a group and
the whole layout turned into a continuous loop.
