PIET BRIJS
MODEL RAILROAD
HOGauge By Piet Brijs
Piet started building this
model railroad in 1983. As every model railroad it is
nearly finished. The scale is HO, The system is Märklin.
During the years he has taken many pictures. A small
selection of those pictures are shown here.
The
railroad is based somewhere in the late fifties and
sixties. So it gives Piet a good excuse to use only steam
locomotives.
The two track mainline connects two stations, Baden
Baden (Vollmer) and Bonn (Kibri). Eleven locomotives make
their appearance on the mainline. The sideline (three
trains) visits also the village of Neuffen.
Trains and tracks are from Märklin. The scenery
material is from well known manufacturers like Kibri,
Vollmer, Faller, Busch, Noch, Viessmann, Preiser, Wiking,
Brekina, Roco (cars), Heki, Brawa, and so on.
