This N Scale layout is based
on the Cottingdon-Mochel Branch of the
Pennsylvania Railroad. It primarily exists to transport coal from
the Cottingdon Consolidated Mine to the Appalachia Power coal fired
Piedmont Works. The Shell Brewerton Refinery is also located in Mochel
generating substantial amounts of traffic. The track plan has evolved by
borrowing items from various plans Scott has seen through the years.
