Penhallick
OO Gauge by
Mel Rees &
Jerry Winterson
The layout was started in 1992 when Mel
Rees and his cousin Jerry Winterson decided to build an exhibition
layout based on the North Cornwall line during the late 1950s and early
1960s.
Some ten years later the layout was ready
for exhibiting. The layout started life some 51' 6" long and in twelve
sections. Then in time for the Tolworth Showtrain Exhibition in November
2005 another 4' was added, to host the town centre.
