MARKSBURG
Z Gauge by
Mark Harrison
Well, Marksburg had sat there in my
basement, unfinished for quite awhile. I finally figured out why. I
enjoy watching the trains go around and around and around and around and
around and around and around and around and around and around and around
... I think you get the idea.
So, I kept the outer loop mainly as is. It was debugged and trains
worked just fine.
I tore out approx 1/3 of the middle loop. I took out the yard and the
inner part of the middle loop. Then I reconstructed it with a loop that
parallels the outer loop
The inner loop was mostly disassembled. The bridge part just never wored
quite right. Trains were de-coupling all the time, etc. I rebuilt the
inner loop the actually be "the third loop" which parallels the other
two loops.
Lastly, I created a fourth loop (the true inner loop now) which
parallels the other three, plus has a couple tiny yards.
