Lillesdorf
N Gauge by
Dave Carnelly
Lillesdorf started out as a small table
top idea that quickly grew. This is Dave's attempt at anything not
British outline.
The layout is set amongst the beautiful
scenery of the Black Forest and represents the junction of two branch
lines. The modest station, loco and goods facilities, serve the
fictitious village of Lillesdorf which lies way down in the valley
below. Set in epoch III, the line is still served by ageing steam
locomotives with convert, thunderbox and tourist stock.
Freight trains run as and when required
and it can be days between the goods yard seeing any traffic. most
village supplies are now brought conveniently into the town centre by
road.
Trackwork is all Peco with electrofrog
points and control is provided by Kent Panel Controllers with feedback
switched off.
