KINGS PARK
NGauge By The East Sussex N Gauge Group
Kings Park is based on a section of the West Coast Main Line between
Queens Park and Willesden North West London. Along with the four
track Main Lines it features the Camden - Watford 'New Line'.
Crossing above all this at one end is a representation of the North
London Line. A Locomotive Depot is included which caters for both
Diesel and Electric traction. The time period is mostly set from
1970 onwards, and many of the early AC Electric Locomotives can be seen.
1938 Tube stock is included, with Class 501 EMU's working the 'New Line'
and North London Local services. A DMU service to and from North
Woolwich appears on our scenario, being an extension of the original
Camden Road - Woolwich shuttle. The signalling is fully
functional, including the early 'searchlight' type on the 'New Line'.
The idea is to create a 'busy' scene, which is enjoyable to watch.
