Disbury Town
to West Bay
O Gauge by
Rainhill MRC
West Bay is a branch line terminus in the
south of England. Both the G.W.R. and S.R. have running powers but
visits form L.M.S. and L.N.E.R. locos are not unknown.
Most of the buildings are scratchbuilt,
track and points are Peco with 'Modelex' controllers.
A mixture of passenger, parcels and
freight trains are operated with milk traffic to the local dairy.
The name 'Disbury Town' commemorates
John Disbury, a member of the Rainhill MRC who contributed much to the
layout and sadly passed away in 2007.
Pictures taken at the
Rainhill MRC 'Model Rail 2008'.
