Castle
top is a fictional village with a shunting depot and a station. The
layout is set in the early 1930’s and like all of my other railways in
the past this one is in OO scale. I designed this layout myself and cut
the board from my old 6ftx4ft board.
I chose this layout to fit exactly
into my bedroom space and not clutter the room. It sits underneath my
loft bed.
I decided
on a low- maintenance layout this time, as I am 13 and my GCSE’s will be
coming up shortly. The layout is not finished yet and in the future
when it is finished I plan to take it to an exhibition next summer and I
also plan to take it down into the garage and extend it. Enjoy!
