BEAUMONT VILLE

OOGauge by Norman Beaumont

Beaumont Ville is a 00 gauge exhibition layout built by Norman E Beaumont. It's a large ficticious town with 2 Stations. The line carries farm produce, coal, cattle, hops & grain for the brewery and of course passengers. There are also trams which serve the streets.

The track is Peco Streamline, with a mixture of point radii, the Station building, cattle dock, signals and signal box (in yard) are all ratio kits. Loco shed and level crossing signal box are dapol and all other buildings are either scratch built or card kits. The turntable is a Peco kit and is turned by a mixture of Meccano parts and brass rods. The backgrounds are a mixture of Townscene and Peco. Rolling stock consists of Hornby, Airfix, Mainline, Lima, Dapol and some kit built.

Norman is a member of the Colwyn M.R.C. and Tramway & Light Railway Society.
