ARKLEY OLD TOWN

Welcome to 'Arkley Old Town', an OO scale 4mm gauge model railway, inspired by, but not a recreation of, Blackpool North in Lancashire. The period depicted on this model railway layout is from the BR 'Blue' days up to and including Sectorisation. Modeller's licence takes effect when more modern WAGONS and DMU's appear but generally, LOCOMOTIVES will conform to the set time period.

 

The main layout is contained on an 11'x3' baseboard in the living room of my small flat, with a 5-road fiddle yard extension. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures, and if you would like to comment on them, the model, or model railways in general, please feel free to visit my website. [more]
