Alexander Heights Brewery
OO Gauge by
Ray Elwin
This layout depicts a brewery and
warehouse area based upon several real buildings located in the Burton,
London and Norwich areas. All the pointwork is hand built and
operated via the 'wire in tube' method. The buildings are built
from plywood and foam board covered in Plasticard.
Stock consists of vans, low wagons, and
grain vans shunted by small diesels. The warehouse is based upon
the Black Eagle Brewery, Brick Lane, Spittlefields, London which belongs
to Trumans.
The mixing sheds are form Bullards Anchor
Brewery in Norwich and another warehouse and boiler room are from
Simpsons Brewery, High Street, Baldock, Hertfordshire.
