SNOWDON RAILWAY

Travel to the top of Snowdon on this wonderful Railway. The Railway is laid on the north-western slopes of Snowdon and clicmbs 3140ft. in its nearly 5 mile journey from Llanberis to the Summit Station, just 66ft from the summit itself. The locomotives used are steam or diesel depending on the day. |

The round trip takes about 2 and a half hours, but you can spend as much time at the summit as you like. There's a posting box at the summit where you can post your postcards, the highest in England and Wales. |
| There's a large selection of food and drinks available at the Llanberis Station Cafe. Takeaway sancks, canned drinks and ice cream can also be bought. |
